We were commissioned to create a beautiful and restful setting for a private Spa complex in Ascot. Set within an old walled garden, our design is intended to reflect its traditional, productive past. We commissioned and collaborated with a master blacksmith to create wrought iron fruit frames, a pergola, bespoke seating, decorative railings and a range of individually designed ornamental gates.
Box hedging and gravel paths define the formal layout which is arranged around a fine, central lawn. Mature pear and apple trees were planted along the walls and fruit frames. The surrounding planting beds are filled with an exuberance of herbaceous planting and fragrant climbers.
